"Let's see, what does a bathroom with a wheelchair sign look like?"
Taku wondered. The bathroom was big enough for a wheelchair to move around in. It was much more spacious than the bathrooms Taku was used to using. There was a western style toilet bowl without a lid with handrails around it. Also, the toilet paper and the button to flush the toilet were easy to reach. The button to flush the toilet was under a lid with a shoehorn shape, and not much strength was needed to push this lid. There was also a sink. "Taku, I want to wash my hands" Taku pushed the wheelchair to the sink. The sink was high enough for the wheelchair to slide under, and the faucet and soap were in a reachable place. "I guess you don't have to worry with a bathroom like this"  Taku said. Chii's smiling face was reflected in the mirror above the sink. Taku smiled back. There was a baby sheet on the wall. The bathroom was easy to use, not only for people in wheelchairs, but for mothers and fathers carrying a child, pregnant women, elderly people and even Taku. When Taku pushed the 'open'button in order to leave the bathroom, he noticed the emergency button. He remembered that there was another of those buttons close to the toilet bowl. These buttons are used when you need to call for help. Wheelchair signs This sign was created in 1969 and is used all over the world. It is an international symbol indicating that facilities and buildings are easy-to-use for handicapped persons.Bathroom signs
