Going out

Hearing her voice restored his confidence and he tried to push the wheelchair, but it wouldn't move.
"Taku, you forgot to release the brake."
"Oh yes, I was wondering why it didn't move."
Taku was a little embarrassed. He released the brake and the wheelchair moved forward.
The breeze felt nice on their faces. It seemed that along with the wheelchair brake, their stiffness was released too.
Taku hummed a tune while pushing the wheelchair.
"Taku, it seems that you are very good at humming."
They started humming together gaily.
"The weather is great today, isn't it? Don't you think I am good at pushing the wheelchair?"

Right at that moment, a ball rolled in front of the wheelchair.
Taku stopped the wheelchair in a hurry and Chii was startled.

The boys that were playing catch with the ball came running.
"Be careful. Playing catch on the street is very dangerous."
